We all know how negativity can have a huge impact on our immune system and holding on to resentment, blaming others for your situation is causing a lot of negativity in your body.
Stop that blame game. Remember that when you point a finger at someone else, there are three fingers pointing back at you.
What other people think about you is their problem and says more about them than about you, but how you feel about them is all about YOU and does not affect them at all.
Don’t let any of that ugly resentment rule your life and keep you stuck in negativity. Now it is time to learn how you can be accountable for your own actions/reactions.
Begin by getting rid of judgements & assumptions about others. Take the first steps towards freedom and learn about acceptance and forgiveness: learn how to let go of this resentment.
We are going to do this with tapping, here is a reminder of the tapping points.

I now want you to think about a situation where you feel that someone has caused you to be in the situation you are in now, someone you blame and feel resentment towards, or a situation you once were in, but still have not cleared the resentment about.
Ok, now let’s do some tapping on releasing this resentment;
KC: Even though I’m holding onto resentment from the past, I love and accept myself,
Even though I don’t want to let go of this resentment, I do love and accept myself anyway,
Even though I’m holding onto resentment and I can’t let it go, I love and forgive myself.
EB: I’m holding onto resentment from the past
SE: but I do love and accept myself
UE: I don’t want to let go of this resentment
UN: I do love and accept myself anyway
CH: I’m holding onto resentment
CB: that I can not let go
UA: but I choose to forgive myself for that
TH: and love myself anyway
EB: this resentment
SE: all this resentment I am holding onto
UE: resentment I do not want to let go
UN: this resentment is a part of who I am
CH: I hold onto it
CB: I am afraid to let it go
UA: afraid that it feels like saying
TH: that it was OK what you did to me
EB: this resentment
SE: I have held onto it for so long
UE: I don’t feel I can let it go
UN: this resentment
CH: All this lingering resentment
CB: it is a part of who I am today
UA: this resentment
TH: I can not let it go
EB: I’ve been hurt
SE: I don’t want to let it go
UE: it makes me feel better somehow
UN: to hold on to this resentment
CH: this resentment is a part of who I am
CB: I have a right to hold on to it
UA: this resentment
TH: I can not let it go
Take a deep breath and check in to see how you feel right now.
The feeling of resentment could have gone down, or the need of the resentment might have become less. If so, please continue, but if you do not feel a change yet go back to the beginning and start over again, just the tapping, you do not need to do the set-up phrases again.
EB: this resentment
SE: it actually serves me no purpose
UE: but maybe it helps me
UN: to get back at the person who hurt me
CH: no it doesn’t;
CB: having resentment only hurts me
UA: but I can’t seem to let it go
TH: or maybe, just maybe I can choose to let it go
EB: maybe a part of me wants to let it go
SE: this resentment
UE: possibly, I can make a choice to let it go
UN: this resentment really serves me no good
CH: I can choose to let it go
CB: although I’m afraid to let it go
UA: yet I know it only hurts me
TH: I know I can be free from its power
EB: free from the negativity of resentment
SE: even though it feels like
UE: it’s a part of who I have become
UN: and it feels like it gives me power
CH: so I’m afraid to let it go
CB: I am afraid to let that power go
UA: yet it doesn’t have to be like that
TH: I can choose to let my resentment go
EB: I have the courage to let this resentment go
SE: I can let this resentment go
UE: I choose to be free from this resentment
UN: I no longer hold resentment in my heart
CH: I enjoy the freedom from this resentment
CB: I no longer hold onto something
UA: that isn’t for my higher good
TH: I release all this resentment right now
Take a deep breath, have a drink of water and continue:
EB: I am now free from this resentment
SE: and I feel great
UE: I feel like a big weight has been lifted
UN: I feel serenity in my heart
CH: I now am resentment free
CB: I no longer hold onto this resentment
UA: I notice inner peace and joy
TH: and I am feeling Love for me
EB: I feel like I am empowered
SE: now that I am free from this resentment
UE: I am Love
UN: I can now really Love myself
CH: I am empowered without that resentment
CB: I Love myself no matter what
UA: I am filled with inner peace and joy
TH: I am feeling full of Love for me
Take another full and deep breath and check in how you feel now.
Write down all the emotions attached to your resentment and tap on them one by one until you feel a release. Please do not ever give up hope; you can do this!!
